Rainbow Dash

Rainbow Dash is a Pegasus pony and a main character in My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. She is responsible for maintaining the weather and clearing the skies in Ponyville. She is also a huge admirer of The Wonderbolts and dreams of one day joining their elite flying group.

The sonic rainboom, said to be an old mare's tale, is Rainbow Dash's signature move. A sonic rainboom is an aerial stunt/event that occurs when a Pegasus pony breaks the sound barrier. It is characterized by a vibrantly-colored ring that expands from the point of the sonic rainboom's occurrence accompanied by a shockwave and a rainbow wake trailing behind the performer of the stunt

 

 

 

Rainbow Dash did her first sonic rainboom when she was just a filly. She was defending fluttershy's honor against two bully ponies, who call Rainbow Dash "Rainbow Crash" and making up similar names for fluttershy. They challenged her to a race and she excepted, but she got so involved in the race, she went so fast that she performed a sonic rainboom. Fluttershy

Fluttershy is a female Pegasus, and one of the main characters of My Little Pony: Friendship is magic. She lives in a cottage near the Everfree Forest and is an animal caretaker, the most prominent of her charges being Angel the bunny. She represents the element of kindness.

Fluttershy's caring nature and appearance is similar to Posey, an Earth pony in the 1980s My Little Pony toy lines and show. Her initial design, published online by Lauren Faust, refers to her as "Posey" as well. Her cutie mark, three pink and cyan butterflies, is similar to that of the G2 pony Sky Skimmer. Fluttershy's name is shared by a previous generation Earth pony, who is a photography enthusiast.
